Hoegaarden Grand Cru is a light and fruity beer with a hoppy character. Contrarily to the other Hoegaarden beers, this beer is not white; its color is somewhere between dark blond and light amber. It has a full and balanced flavor with hints of citrus (it contains orange zest) and spices. It has an alcohol content of 8.7%.

Hoegaarden Grand Cru was originally brewed at the same brewery where the famous Hoegaarden white beer was brewed. Although it has some characteristics that we find in Hoegaarden's white beers, like the orange zest, this beer has a very different flavor and color.
